Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Just tell us your gender, age, general health level, tobacco use, how much coverage you want, and how many years. That's enough to get rates. Your name, full address, and detailed health information only come into play if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They represent what each carrier quoted for the class you picked. The carrier's underwriting process might confirm the rate, improve it, or shift it to a different class. This site doesn't guarantee any particular price or make insurance offers.
What happens when I click Apply?
You'll enter your name, and the application gets built from the exact quote you picked. Then it shifts to the carriers' secure system. Pause whenever you need and come back—you sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California broker (License 0B75129), runs the show.
Will I need a medical exam?
The answer depends on which company, how much coverage, and what you told us. Some carriers make immediate decisions for people who qualify; each quote will show you whether an exam is required, might be asked for, or won't be needed.
Is a longer term better?
A term spans the years when your absence would wound your dependents' finances: a house payment, young kids, a business debt. Longer terms run more per month but freeze your rate longer. The quote tool shows you 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool doesn't ask for contact information, we don't peddle your data away, and we count visits without cookies. Read the privacy page for specifics on what we gather and who touches it.
